My name is Victor Beirinckx, I was born in 2005 and live in Hulshout. From an early age I was fascinated by cycling. As a child I raced through the garden, jumped over obstacles and crossed through the woods. At the age of 8 I made the logical choice to start with BMX. In the beginning it was a challenge, the steep hills and sharp bends got used to but soon I discovered my passion for the sport. BMX became my outlet, my pleasure, and soon my ambition. Step by step I made progress and increasingly technical challenges. Every game I tried to push my boundaries, from the quarterfinals to the semifinals and finally to the finals, both in Belgian and European competitions. Between the ages of 14 and 16, I faced an extra challenge. Because I let mature, I had to compete against bigger and stronger riders. Where they could use their strength, I had to fully focus on technology and cornering. This forced me to drive smarter and more tactically, something I reap the benefits to this day. From the junior class it became more serious. Larger starting hills, technically more challenging courses and longer jumps, BMX became top sport. My junior years were not easy due to injury, which sometimes made it mentally difficult. Still, I managed to show my potential here and there. In 2024 I took the next step to Marc Hermans' Athletes For Hope team. This beautiful project gives me extra motivation to give everything. After a constant season in 2024 at the U23, I continue to work hard. With the confidence and support of my team, I have made every effort this winter to make 2025 really my breakthrough year
